All of our hardscaping projects begin with a solid base to ensure they can withstand the tests of time. For the Maryland climate, the International Concrete Paving Institute recommends a gravel base of 4” beneath every hardscaping project. While many contractors go with the bare minimum, we build all of our projects on a minimum of 5” of gravel in order to create a finished product that will look beautiful for years to come.
